You took my pencil case, so I held my hand out across the table, closing my eyes and resting my forehead on my arm. I could feel the cold air surrounding my hand as it sat open to the barren lands. But then, I felt your warm, smoothly calloused hand slide into mine. Without thought I naturally reacted, closing my hand around yours. It seemed like eternity, but it only lasted a mere second before we both released and our connection was seperated. But all the while it felt just right. And even when my hand was once again empty, I it was no longer cold- and far from alone.
