I have to write seven poems for english class. I have six done. I just thought I'd post them here.
(I only have six done at the moment, but I'll post the seventh when I am done)
Tomorrow
What will tomorrow enclose?
Everyone fears the untold.
This distress will never age.
Future comings will forever be mysteries.
Today
A day has been lost.
Many more forgot.
Find today.
Or the sands of time will slip away.
Through fragile fingers lacking delay.
If Only
If only.
If only smiles and laughter could ensure peace and happiness.
If only open hearts and open minds could stop the blindness.
If only a needle and thread could mend shattered glass.
Morning Sunrise
The sun raising in the sky,
Could dissolve the world’s lies,
Set everything right,
And exile dark with light.
Tears
Tears of humanity rain down,
Sorrow puddles on the ground.
We wipe our eyes,
Gaze to the sky.
Knowing it is wrong to question why.
