I was lying in the dark last night. Awake at the strike of midnight. I heard the old clock down stairs chime it's hourly chime. I started blankly out to the moon lit snow. Peaceful... a scary peaceful, like the silence before the storm. I opened my blind and let the bright moonlight shine onto my bed, and then curled back up under my warm covers. I couldn't sleep, there was too much on my mind. Instead I opened my eyes and stared at the red glowing numbers of my alarm clock. I watched time slowly tick by, while the rest of my family slept.

Did you know you get the most peaceful speel between 9:00 and 12:00. Of course, I can never manage to sleep during those times. Coincidence?
